A Message from our CEO: McCormick to Suspend Operations in Russia and Offers Humanitarian Support for Ukraine
As a result of the continued conflict in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis across Europe, McCormick & Company has decided to suspend operations in Russia. We condemn the violence in Ukraine and hope for an immediate end to the suffering of innocent people.
At the start of the conflict, the company stopped all advertising and promotional activity and other investments in Russia. This newly announced suspension will be managed in an orderly and respectful way.
Company operations in Ukraine have been paused in order to focus on the safety of our colleagues and their families. We will continue to provide support through out the crisis.
To aid in the ongoing efforts to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, McCormick donated to the Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) and World Central Kitchen. Funding donated to the PCPM will provide food, shelter, and other essential needs to displaced Ukrainian families. Funding donated to the World Central Kitchen, which has set up stations at eight border crossings within Poland, will aid the organization in serving hot, nourishing meals and establish additional meal distribution points across six countries.
Our thoughts are with our colleagues and the people impacted by these tragic events.
