McCormick has committed to decreasing waste across the business, with goals to reduce operational waste and water usage, and develop sustainable packaging solutions for consumer products.
McCormick is dedicated to taking a multi-pronged and disruptive approach to reduce the environmental impact from our plastic packaging. To underscore our commitment, we signed the New Plastics Economy Commitment led by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
McCormick has identified opportunities to reduce its operational impact through waste management. Reuse, waste diversion and circular products all provide opportunities to optimize costs and environmental performance.
McCormick’s operations utilize relatively low volumes of water compared to other food companies. However, we have committed to identifying water savings and managing our water usage efficiently within our facilities.
